Sehteen (صحتين, Arabic for "bon appétit") is a food delivery platform built for Syria. Customers order from local restaurants in the Sehteen app, pay cash on delivery and track the courier on a live map. Restaurants get a live kitchen board, and couriers are paid per delivery. The service is live in Daraa, with more cities planned.

The cash cycle
How cash on delivery stays honest
About 95% of orders are paid in cash, which makes the courier’s satchel the payment rail. Sehteen treats it with the seriousness a bank gives a ledger.
A courier over their ceiling is offered no work until they settle. A counted shortfall stays on their float rather than being quietly forgiven. An editable cash ledger is not a ledger - so ours cannot be edited.

A ceiling on the cash a courier carries
Each courier has a float limit enforced by the server in job listing, acceptance and the online toggle alike. New couriers start at 1,500 and reach 3,000 after 30 completed deliveries.

Settlement at the office, counted not declared
Settlement is expected within 24 hours of the first unsettled collection. A clerk counts the cash; the courier is credited what was counted.

An append-only ledger the console can audit
Every collection, settlement and adjustment is a row that cannot be edited. The console shows outstanding floats, settlement previews and the full history per courier.

How do I track my order?
Open "My orders" and pick the active order to see its live status on the map, and where the courier is right now.
Which payment methods are available?
Cash on delivery is available on all orders; online payment is coming soon.
How do I cancel an order?
You can cancel from the tracking screen while the restaurant hasn't started preparing. Once the kitchen accepts, the Cancel button disappears and the order has to be completed.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders inside Daraa arrive in 25 to 40 minutes. Every restaurant shows its own estimate before you order, and the tracking screen counts down the real one.
